Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), Chair of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, yesterday joined other leaders of the House Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce Committees in a letter to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) requesting an expedited report analyzing recent trends in prescription drug pricing.

"Reducing waste, fraud and abuse in Medicare is not a partisan issue. This report underscores that there is more we must do."
